⚠ Use it safely: There is a sharp blade under the mesh guard — switch the device off before opening the compartment, and never put your fingers through the mesh. Always work on fabric laid flat, never while you are wearing the garment. Do not press down; let the blade skim the surface. Avoid loose-knit, sheer, lace, silk and anything with pulled threads, and test on a hidden corner such as an inside hem first. Only use it on dry fabric. Empty the compartment regularly — a full one stops it cutting properly. Keep away from children.

Frequently asked questions

Will it damage my clothes?

Not if you use it as intended. The mesh guard holds the blade off the fabric so it only catches the fuzz standing proud of the surface. Damage happens when people press hard or work on a garment bunched up rather than laid flat. Test a hidden corner first and you will see straight away how your fabric responds.

Can I use it on pashmina or fine wool?

Be careful with anything loose-knit, sheer or very delicate — pashmina, lace, silk blends and open weaves can catch. For an expensive shawl, test an inside corner first, and if in doubt leave it alone. It is at its best on regular sweaters, cardigans, blankets and upholstery.

Does it work on sofas and car seats?

Yes, and that is where people often notice the biggest difference. Cushion covers, sofa arms, car seats and blankets all go bobbly with use. Work slowly over a flat section at a time.

Will it pick up pet hair?

It lifts some, but it is built for bobbles and fuzz rather than hair. For a lot of pet hair, use a roller or brush first, then this to finish the surface.

How do I empty it?

Switch it off, twist off the compartment at the back, tip the lint into the bin, and click it back on. Do this every few minutes while working — a full compartment is the usual reason one of these seems to stop cutting.

Is it noisy?

It makes a light buzzing sound, similar to an electric shaver. Nothing that would disturb anyone in the next room.

How do I charge it?

With the cable supplied, from any standard phone charger, laptop or power bank. Charge it fully before the first use, and use a normal 5V adapter rather than a fast charger.

Can I wash it?

No. Empty the compartment and brush the blade area dry — most of these come with a small brush, or an old toothbrush works. Never rinse the device or hold it under a tap.

How long will delivery take?
